On Common Ground
Located on two floors of the downtown Madison museum, this exhibit tells the story of Wisconsin history from first contact with European culture to the present. teller|madsen did original research, conceptual development, planning, design and detailing. We worked with both museum and historical society staff, as well as content area research special consultants whom we identified and hired. The exhibit showcases a significant number of artifacts as it explores the mixed culture of Native Americans and European trappers, Yankee-German conflicts among immigrants, the farming and industrial base of the state and the legacy of progressive politics.
