With Malice Toward None: The Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial
teller|madsen was asked by the Newberry Library to design two exhibits on the occasion of Abraham Lincoln's 200th anniversary. One exhibit is a re-design of the Library of Congress traveling exhibition "With Malice Toward None" which is adapted to the Newberry galleries and incorporates other required changes. The other, "Honest Abe of the West" is an exhibition featuring Newberry's own collection of Lincoln material highlighting Illinois connections and his early life and career. For this exhibit teller|madsen innovated a stand-up label within the exhibit cases which reduces the number of cases needed and makes for easier reading of label text.
