Encounter on the Prairie
An interpretive history exhibit in a renovated courthouse, c. 1903. Life in McLean county is described in four topic areas: People, Work, Farming, and Politics. Larger items are in a central display unit with smaller objects and interpretive material arranged in a reading rail case around the perimeter. teller|madsen worked closely with museum staff to establish concepts, complete the design, and adhere to a definitive schedule and budget. The McLean County Courthouse is an Historic Landmark. Throughout, we worked with the project architect and the exhibit development team to ensure that all preservation requirements were strictly followed.
