Today's Wednesday photo, part of a continuing series, was made a few days ago in Kolkata. Today, the first day of a New Year, I am grateful for my ever-expanding life, for my family and friends, for the gifts that surround me, for art and music and loves new and old. And I am painfully aware of others whose lives are equally precious.
