The Children's Garden
The design/interpretation team that we assembled for this highly interactive 5,000 square foot children's exhibit consisted of an architect, a landscape architect, a structural engineer, a mechanical engineer, a lighting designer and a construction cost consultant. The exhibits range from an interactive "Giant Photosynthesis Leaf" with bouncing "Sun Balls" to giant vines with interpretive plantings that snake through the exhibit to a giant "Bee" that children move across the conservatory to "pollinate" a giant flower. A working fountain with giant leaves drips into a jungle pool as children slide down a giant vine in this educational playground.
