Photograph and negative on polycarbonate substrates,
Cloth, wood, light bulbs and sockets, LED light strips

A lament to the now largely abandoned traditional process of photography. Previously, there was time and space between the creation of a negative through exposure and development and the making of a print. Now it happens at the speed of light and something may have been lost in the process.

The title is from a poem by Rabinadrath Tagore. The image is one of the found photographs that forms the basis of the Fulbright awarded Following the Box project.
