Dye-sublimate print on ceramic tile of one of the found photographs from WWII, then broken into pieces and jumbled with lava rocks. With a small video of details of the Indian temple’s architecture coupled with a sonogram of my recent stress test. The low audio of my heartbeat symbolizes that while structures are impermanent, both they and art, specifically photographs, may be seen almost as living things, animated by our interpretation. The piece now is also a sadly relevant comment on the recent destruction of the temple at Palymira by ISIS
