Today's Wednesday image is of a wind blown tree on the island of Thassos in Greece, in 1972. Ruth Bernhard, on seeing this photo, commented that it was a metaphor for a Greek tragedy. Hopefully, she wasn't referring to the print quality. This photo was made from a 4x5" paper negative, which was then printed and later scanned.
