It's Wednesday; I'm in Bremen, not that far from Belgium. So here is a photo made in 1968, backstage at the Belgian Jazz Festival in Liege. The man in the hat is Jacques Pelzer, a brilliant saxophone player who played with Coltrane and many other greats. I had met him in Corsica and stayed with him in Liege.
